Are you having fun yet!

As many of you know I love hockey and started playing about two years ago. My son once told me that he feels alive when he is on the ice. I was actually jealous that he could have so much passion for something. I could not understand until I tried it for myself. I am hooked! Below are a few of the organizations in Colorado that I believe have the players best interest in mind and are making making a difference and are improving hockey in Colorado. Check them out!

One organization that is dear to my heart is the Colorado Youth Hockey Foundation. It has been a great honor to work with the founder Matt Dyroff and the group involved with this foundation. They are truly making a difference in kids lives. If you love hockey or you are just looking for a way to help check them out.

The Hockey Guild. Here is a group that is creating partnerships in the hockey community to help fight Cancer. Check out their website and their weekend festival starting May1st. Quest for the Crown.

The Denver Women's Hockey League goes above and beyond. I can not say enough about the women involved. This is an outstanding program and if you are a women and you are interested in putting on the skates this is the place to do it. Remember you are never too old to start playing hockey. Heck with all that gear on you don't feel a thing!
