It's About Business or Is It?
One Day!
Article by Marianne Niehaus
One day I sat alone in my office starring at the picture that hangs prominently above my computer monitor. I work out of my home like many of us do these days. Driven by email, text messaging and someone on the other end of the the city, the state, the world... monitoring what we get done in a day.
I started my own business twelve years ago so I could control my life, make more money than I ever had and give my customers great stuff, no matter what it was. The was one huge problem the more work I got, the more money I made the less control I had. Working into the night, getting up before dawn to speak with a client, hiring people to help me just to keep up with the daily stuff. Suddenly I realized that I still did not control my life because my clients controlled my life. I literally sat in meetings with a tear in my eye with my clients knowing I was missing an event for my kids that I wanted to be there to support them. My priorities started to change. I wanted to control my life and enjoy my family and my kids and to be there for them.
One day I was sitting in my office as I usually do, all alone, as I usually am... thinking. What if, what if I could find a company to be a part of that I could still have my own business but I would have a team of people to help me daily. A team that I do not actually have to pay out of my pocket. I was working more and more but making less because I had to hire more people. Not a good formula. I have been doing what I have been doing for nearly 25 years and I was seriously ready for a change.
So, one day I was sitting in my office thinking, what if I could find a company that had one incredible product that customers could be confident in, something that was simple because I only wanted to master one product not a hundred.
I want to help millions of people in many ways. I did not know how I would help them but I knew what ever I was doing I wanted it to help people, a lot of people... I have always wanted to help people.
One day I was thinking this and without hesitation I decided that something like this does not exist and suddenly I was back to reality, my reality.
So, one day I sat in my office all alone and manifested something in my head that I never thought I would find because in my reality nothing like that existed.
What is your reality? What do you want to manifest today... maybe somewhere somehow there is a new reality that exists!
Take care and have a wonderful day.
